Welcome to Gordon Electrical Limited, an electrical contractor specialising in street lighting inspection and testing. We are based just north of Dunblane, Perthshire. Our Managing Director, Robert Gordon, started the business in 1997 after having worked as an electrician for various street lighting contractors for 10 years. In 2002 we began concentrating on Inspection and Testing, developing a package of work for street lighting which has now been adapted to suit several local authorities we have worked with over the last decade. In 2007 and 2008 we won awards for our work in this area. We have also worked with a number of major contractors throughout Scotland and in the north of England, including building contractors, utility companies and civil engineering contractors. <\/span><\/p>\n We provide the following services:<\/span><\/p>\n Street lighting: electrical installation and termination of standard, specialist and LED lanterns on highways, trunk roads, footpaths, cycleways, car parks and bridges<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Street lighting maintenance: maintenance and repair of local authority street lighting inventory, bulk lamp changes, lantern replacements, fault finding, night scouting, emergency standby <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Festive lighting: installation, testing, switch-on, maintenance and repair of all types of features<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Our electricians hold all necessary industry qualifications, including training in traffic management and MEWP operation as well as certification in electrical and health and safety standards. We are a Living Wage employer and uphold the principles of Fair Work First.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We are members of SELECT, the trade association for Scotland\u2019s electrical contracting industry, and also hold membership with Constructionline and the Institute of Lighting Professionals.
